The Anzera villa development consist of 43 villas spread over 4.35 acres of land within the city of Kochi. The most challenging aspect in this site apart from the master planning was the surface water management. The design tries to blur the distinction between the interior and exterior. The massing of the structure is done such that the larger volumes are pushed towards the rear. This makes the entire development less imposing. The reinterprets certain vernacular details that adds a certain sense of place. The development has elaborate play area, swimming pool and a club house. In addition to these communal spaces, each house has its own private patio.
