The Aeli retirement facility was initially a proposal for a youth hostel which was ironically transformed into a retirement facility where the inhabitants rejuvenated themselves and were given an opportunity to redeem their youth. The proposal aims at providing a luxurious accommodation for its inhabitants along with various activities to keep them engaged and entertained. These facilities include bakery, gardening which involves a unique live salad garden that incorporates aquaponics. Aquaponics combines conventional aquaculture with hydroponics thus creating a symbiotic environment.
